Bal Gopal Foundations 10th Annual Charity Golf Day

In Loving Memory of Payal Patel

Payal Patel (daughter of Hemubhai and Sandhyaben, and sister of Anokhi and Savan of Club 2000), sadly, passed away on Monday 25th November 2024, surrounded by her much-loved family and friends, after a brief battle with liver cancer.

She had a remarkable gift for bringing people together and touched the lives of so many. Her smile, kindness and sense of humour were infectious and left an impression on all that who were fortunate to have met her.

Payal along with all at Club 2000, have always supported “Bal Gopal Foundation,”  not only through continuous sponsorship, but also supporting many of our previous events.

Payal’s absence leaves us with a profound void in our hearts, she will be deeply missed. She will always be in our hearts, for many years to come.

Sponsorship and donations

All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Bal Gopal Foundation, supporting their life-changing work in educating underprivileged children and transforming communities.

Funds raised will help build and improve schools in some of the most rural and disadvantaged areas, providing safe learning environments, essential classroom resources, and access to quality education.

Every pound raised helps give these children a brighter future — one where hope, opportunity, and learning replace hardship and struggle

Want to make a real difference and showcase your support? We have a range of sponsorship opportunities available to suit individuals and businesses looking to get involved.

Changing Lives,
One Child at a Time

This event is dedicated to raising vital funds for the Bal Gopal Foundation, helping bring education, opportunity, and hope to underprivileged children in rural communities.

The Bal Gopal Foundation (BGF) is a shining example of what can be achieved when compassion meets action. Founded in 2010, BGF is a zero-administration charity — which means every penny raised goes directly to those who need it most. With roots in both the UK and India, their mission is clear: to give every child the opportunity to dream, learn, and thrive.

At the heart of BGF is a belief that today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders. Too many of them, however, grow up without access to even the most basic resources. That’s where BGF steps in. With unwavering dedication, they identify and support schools in some of the most impoverished areas — places where the need is great and the hope, sometimes, is thin. But BGF brings that hope back.

Thanks to their tireless efforts, entire schools have been built, educational resources have been delivered, and countless children’s lives have been transformed. What’s more, the ripple effect of their work has inspired hundreds of volunteers, mobilised youth-led initiatives, and ignited school projects across continents. It’s not just charity — it’s a movement of kindness, led by people who believe in making a real difference.

Driven entirely by volunteer power, BGF has become a beacon of hope for underprivileged children. They don’t just provide books and buildings — they bring strength, safety, and joy into young lives. Every pencil, every classroom, every smile… it’s all thanks to supporters like you.

So far, the impact has been incredible — but this is just the beginning. With your help, we can continue to rewrite futures and build a world where no child is left behind.

Every donation counts. Every child matters. And every step forward is something you helped make possible.
